danced the same dance

we became friends

shared secrets

and told lies

together.

We cried till we could cry no more

we laughed till we had tears

we faught

we made up

we had babies

had our hearts broken into a million pieces

we healed

together.

We fought hard

not for ourselves

but for each other

through unthinkable things

unspeakable things

we grew weak

but then got strong

we loved

and we lost

we hated

and moved on

we grew apart

and grew back together again

we moved away

or stayed behind

we mourned the miles apart

together.

We felt lost

and alone

we missed

our souls now intertwined

for we became sisters
